  My name is William Ryan. I am an independent author of science fiction and fantasy. My first novelette "Come to the Nightmare" is part of a series of works titled "Eternal Nexus". I also have a novel being reviewed by an agent as of this posting. I read and speculate often. Some of my favorite authors inclue: Tolkien, R.A. Salvator, Terry Pratchett, Edgar Allen Poe, Ernest Hemingway, Robert Frost and Yevgeny Zamyatin.  I am a huge military history buff and spend a fair amount of time studying related topics, for my own edification as well as for my work.
